Specimen sent to Leslie Newman for ID and later included in Newman & Cannon book and CD, where top photo reproduced."Body translucent, light brown to light green mottled with white and brown dots. Median stripe distinct, white. Margin narrow, white ... Generic determination uncertain." Known to date only from Hawai`i. Generally seen only at night.

Illustrated in Devaney and Eldredge, Reef and Shore Fauna of Hawaii, section 2, plate 2.I.4d. Caption reads:"?Pseudocerotid: note cerebral eye group. Ewa, Oahu, 8-15 m, under rocks and in caves; length 35-40 mm.)"
