cf. Pseudoceros 18
photo: Mike Ryan, Ma`alaea Bay, Maui, 8-12 ft. (at night)

Background body color mottled black and white forming a reticulate pattern. Inner marginal band wide, white; outer marginal band narrow, pale orange-brown becoming wider and more intensely orange on tops of pseudotentacles. Inner white marginal band discontinuous over tops of pseudotentacles, replaced by several white spots.

Resembles Pseudoceros sp. 18 on the Newman & Cannon CD. In the latter the white inner marginal band is replaced by a series of white spots; the single marginal band is bright orange and wide. CD gives distribution for Pseudoceros sp 18 as Australia (Great Barrier Reef) and Indonesia.

Also resembles Pseudoceros sp. 10 on the CD.
