This worm is part of the community of organisms living in and around beds of the algae Halimeda kanaloana.

Update: Flatworm specialist Rene Ong of the National University of Singapore has narrowed the genus down to Pseudoceros based on photos of a similar worm's underside posted on iNaturalist.
