ID from Newman & Cannon CD, where Scott Johnson's photo is reproduced. CD reads: "Red with irregular white dots, especially at the margin. Pseudotentacles white." Known so far only from Australia (southern Great Barrier Reef) and Hawai`i.

A photo of this species appears in Reef and Shore Fauna of Hawaii, section 2, plate 2.I.4a. The caption reads: "?Pseudocerotid sp.: note white over tentacles and lighter color of pharyngeal region. Pupukea, Oahu, 10 m, under rocks; length ca. 15 mm."

Except for white on the tentacles, resembles Pseudoceros rubronanus
